The initial consultation is a brief conversation — usually 15–20 minutes by phone — where we discuss your student's current situation: which test they're preparing for, their starting score or performance level, target schools or score goals, and timeline. I'll give an honest assessment of what's realistic and how I'd approach it.
When you reach out, it's helpful (but not required) to include:
• Which test your student is preparing for (SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT)
• Any recent test scores or practice test results
• Target score or target schools
• Preferred format: in-person (San Diego) or online
• Timeline — when is the next test date?
In-person: Del Mar Highlands, Carmel Valley, San Diego. Sessions typically scheduled weekday afternoons and evenings.
Online: Available via Zoom for students anywhere in the US and internationally. Scheduling is flexible, including accommodations for time zone differences with UK and EU families.
